I have long been fascinated by the paintings made by Olle Olsson, well you know he lived in Solna or more specifically in Tapiola, wooden town that was demolished in the 1960s to make way for high-rises. Olle's house was saved though! Yesterday I found Ulf Linde and Rein Välmes book: Olle Olsson absolute auction Tapiola - witty strong man in the artist idyll. (1965): This book is thus made before the demolitions in Tapiola so many of the environments that can be found in his paintings were still in reality. Here a lovely interior image from a grocery store with Olle in conversation with the dealer himself and another customer with a package under his arm. Between 1950 and 1965 gave the Swedish Society out a yearbook titled Contour. The years 1961-1965 were the English and was then called: Contour - Swedish design absolute auction annual. Olle Olsson belongs obvious favorites. I have both books you write about. Then I have two others that are worth adding an eye in.
