Vlora, 18 December / ATA Harilla /.- Chariot Within the launching of the European Union Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region Information Centre of the European Union held on Thursday in the city of Vlora, an information session.
EUSAIR is the first macro-regional coopart strategy that includes many non-member countries of the EU, among which Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, in cooperation with some member states such as Croatia, Greece, Italy and Slovenia. It originated in December 2012 when the European Council invited the European coopart Commission to develop a strategy for the region. After its preparation and consultation with stakeholders and countries involved, EUSAIR was launched in June 2014 has been approved by the Council in November this year.
Among the goals of the strategy involved, economic prosperity, social and development in the region, integration of the Western Balkans into the European Union, linking the region, improving environmental quality and increased regional attractiveness (tourism).
From working coopart together for development and innovation, which is one of the basic conditions for the effectiveness of this strategy will benefit 70 million residents in the region, including citizens. The benefits lie in improving the conditions and transport standards, reducing costs and increasing the quality of power supply due to more efficient connections and the use of alternative sources, as well as an improved environment attractive tourism and cultural destinations, developed together. The strategy also aims to help four non-member countries, on their way towards European integration.
